    Did you tried this ?

    in L2.ini

    ServerAddr=L2authd.Lineage2.com

    in the Windows hosts file

    "XXX.XXX.XX.XX" L2authd.Lineage2.com

    X = internal IP adress of your pc

    Also...
    Post the loginserver.properties and server.properties files here.
    So we can see if something is wrong.

    Regards

    Maybe because its easier for other people to connect to your server that way ?
    And maybe because few L2 clients refuse to connect to localhost directly. (Had that problem few times with different c4 clients)

    You still didnt post any config files.
    Guess you dont need help anymore.

    Post  Re1d on 20th January 2017, 11:44

    I don't want anyone to connect to my server i only want to connect myself . That's why i keep it on 127.0.01 . Somehow  i can run high five servers online but it seems that i just can't log in the game (C4) for some reason.

    Please check my files underneath and help me if you can,
    cheers.

    Try this....

    loginserver.properties

    InternalHostname="internal IP adress"
    LoginserverHostname="internal IP adress"
    LoginHostname=127.0.0.1

    server.properties

    GameserverHostname="internal IP adress"
    InternalHostname="internal IP adress"
    LoginHost=127.0.0.1

    l2.ini

    ServerAddr="internal IP adress"

    I guess you know how to check your internal IP adress. (ipconfig)

    Well ....with the above setup i can connect to my local server without any problems.
    I dont use skype and I dont take money for helping someone....

    Here are few things you can check

    1. Make sure no firewall is blocking login/gameserver proccesses (java.exe)
    2.Try downloading another C4 system folder (search google, there are plenty of forums/sites) (change the ip in L2.ini)

    You could also compare the config files of the h5 server and the c4 server.
    Try the settings used in the h5 properties (you stated that that one worked without any trouble).

    Hope that helps.
