    Is there a way to add summon animation for monsters (when they spawn or polymorph) ?
    Like adding a showSummonAnimation support for AI scripts.

    I remember a LOT of monsters had that back in c3-c4.

    You are talking about normal monsters, aren't you?
    I believe i can do it, but i have no clue which monsters have animation.
    I can add a check in database set to false for all monsters and add animations to those who need it little by little.

    On retail c3/c4 I remember lot of quest monsters had that animation too.

    For normal monsters : best example would be those who polymorph on attack. (Fallen Orc Shaman)
    Found a video about it (thats from c5 client)



    And lot of old mini bosses (Lord Ishka?) had that animation onSpawn too.


    I can add a check in database set to false for all monsters and add animations to those who need it little by little.

    It was easier than i expected.
    Client sends animation only to NPCs who should have it, so we don't need a database check at all.
    I just modified the code to show animation only at spawn, and now it works like a charm (i believe).

    I feel like i'm on a good old c2-c3 server Razz


    polymorphing_onAttack  
    Works like a charm for Fallen Orc Shamans^^
    Shows summon animation but not on all mobs


    polymorphing_angel
    No animation shown. (maybe not supported client side?)


    Mini Bosses (example: Vrykolakas)
    Only shows once when spawned with //spawn command (no animation on respawn)
    Missing animation on respawn



    Question is now , how can I add this animation part to a AI script (custom monsters for example) ??

    Something like this ?

    It won't work. Client supports summon animation for certain NPCs.
    ToI angels have no summon animation.

    Figured it out after testing like 100 monsters ...lol
    Lazy ncsoft devs -.- ^^

    Im using custom made onSpawn/onKill methods on old c3 mini bosses.
    And it works like a charm.

    Any idea why it wont work when a monster (which does support summon animation) respawns ?
